Safe To View - IE 6/7 Internet Safety Toolbar

Just because IE and other browsers have built in popup blockers does not mean the Internet is a very safe place.  There are a lot of very bad sites out that that attempt to mislead you into installing spyware on your machine.  We have developed a tool to help give you informed deecisions while you are surfing the web.

Safe to View is an Internet Explorer 6/7 toolbar addin. It shows you while you are surfing the web if a site may be threatening to you or not.  There are also over 40 categories of domains (the same as the Emerald Web Shield) for you to choose the type of content you want flag as objectionable.

We could have blocked that parked domain from sending those two dozen popups your way.

Sick of search results that are 50% or more parked domains just trying to send you to another search portal?

If we know about the parked domain, you can be notified before you visit the page.

You are warned graphically within IE if a site you are loading might be a threat.  You can optionally have the toolbar block the site from loading.

The Emerald Spam Shield is an anti spam filter service that utilizes a redundant cluster of servers to filter spam out of the corporate email stream and send only desired email on to a company's mail network.

Website domain names must be looked up through a DNS server before a web browser can download the site.  By handling those queries as a DNS server the Emerald Web Shield web filter is able to filter web content in a new and unique manner.  This also means that we are not limited to a specific platform and our web filter service can filter any machine capable of browsing the web including Windows, Macintosh, and Unix machines.
